On the 4th-5th of March 2023, the MWN reunited in Samsun, Turkey, near one of the most important Ramsar sites of the country: the Kizilirmak delta.

Topics of the workshop

The main topics of discussion were the results of the International Waterbird Census (IWC) in each country and suggestions on how to improve them. Other subjects were also discussed, such as the challenges of analyzing rare species trends and the technical reports.
